Health and Safety Consultancy and Training Provider Katana HSEQ are appointed by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (Wales Directorate) as a Registered Training Provider for the new CIEH Award in Supervising Artificial Tanning.
To date, we have trained over 30% of sunbed premise owners and their staff in Wales
As from the 31 October 2011 - The Sunbeds (Regulation) Act (Wales) 2010 Regulations 2011 places a legal duty on Sunbed Business Owners and Operators in Wales to ensure their staff receive training in the supervision of artificial tanning.
To help meet the required standard of competency, the CIEH has developed a training programme designed to provide the knowledge and understanding required to meet compliance.
